Features

The Mellott LMR 48" is designed to be the toughest and most reliable Debarker on the market that will debark up to a 48" diameter log.

A total of 14 Cast Alloy Bullwheels are standard
Bullwheel, Kickoff and Head Pivot Bearings are Split Flange with Replaceable Nylon Liners
Bullwheels Mount onto 1" Flame Cut Plates for an Open Frame Design with Less Bark Hang Up
Head support frame is 3/4" Flame Cut Plates in a Ladder Design for Exceptional Strength
Head Pivot Shaft Is Nickel Plated for Long LIfe
Two 2-14" Threaded Nickel Plated Nuts are used for Belt Tensioning, no slots or jack screws are used.
7" V-Wheels are used on the Top and Bottom of the Carriage Track, the bottom wheels have an eccentric adjustment, no slots or jack screws
Head Motor is Enclosed in a Protective Frame to Help Prevent Damage
Head Support Design alllows more clearance between the log and frame allowing room for belts to be shielded and eliminates a choke point where bark comes off the log
Operators Cab is Mounted on Isolation Mounts to Reduce Shock and Vibration
Captains Type Operators Chair with JoyStick Controls is Standard
